Step by step

  1. Create or select your company bot in Telegram’s BotFather.
  2. Open the correct website in Radman and choose Telegram connection.
  3. Enter the bot token privately, validate the bot and activate message delivery.
  4. From a separate customer session, send the bot a test message. Reply from Radman and confirm the reply arrives.
  5. Review permissions, then share the bot’s public Telegram address with customers.

Keep the token private

A bot token controls the bot. Paste it only into the intended connection form; never publish it in a screenshot, support message or installation example. If it was exposed or a previous service still controls the bot, regenerate it through BotFather and update the intended connection.

Saved does not always mean active

Use the connection’s validation and activation controls. If messages fail, verify that the bot belongs to the intended website, that the plan supports Telegram and that another integration has not replaced its webhook. Do not create a second support bot merely to hide a broken first connection.

Check who can see identifiers

Before giving the team access, review Telegram identifier permissions. Names help agents recognize people, while identifiers can stay masked for staff who do not need them. A website profile and a Telegram identity should not be treated as the same person without reliable linkage.
